From materials and a picture donated to the genealogical library in 1995 by Thelma Jean Day: 'Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 1990, at the Solid Rock Baptist Church for Mrs. Mabel Bills who died Aug. 5, 1990, in Paris. Burial will be in Littlejohn Cemetery; the Rev. A.R. Martin will officiate. Mrs. Bills was born in Lamar County on June 4, 1917, a daughter of the late Harold Ray, Sr. and Artana (Frazier) Moore. She attended Lamar County schools and was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of McCuistion Hospital after 29 years. Loved ones who remain are her husband, Mr. Blake Bills, Paris; a daughter, Mrs. Nona Faye Bills Williams; two sons, Arthur Gene Bills, Oklahoma City, OK and Bruce Wayne Bills, Paris ; two grandchildren, Brian Bills and Gary Bills, Sr; four great-grandchildren, Byron Bills, Gary Bills, Jr., Latrina Bills and Laquita Bills; and a host of other relatives and friends.'

THE PARIS NEWS, 8 Aug 1990. 'Mabel Bills, 73, of Paris died Sunday, 5 Aug 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, 8 Aug, at the Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. A.R. Martin officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Littlejohn Cemetery. Mrs. Bills was born 4 Jun 1917, in Lamar County, a daughter of Harold Moore Sr. and Artana Frazier Moore. She attended school in Lamar County and was a retired employee of McCuistion Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Blake Bills, and two sons, Arthur Gene Bills of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bruce Wayne Bills of Paris.'
