THE PARIS NEWS Fri., Nov. 27, 1992, p. 4A: "Jesse Bills, Jr., 57, Rt. 6, Paris, died Tue., Nov. 24, at his home. Services at 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 28, at the Palestine Baptist Church with Rev. R.L. Gray. Maxey Funeral Home in charge. Born in Red River County, a son of Jesse Bills Sr. & Luvenia Lewis Bills, he attended Red River County schools & had served in the Army. He was a Baptist. Surviving are 2 sons, William Floyd Bills of Sherman & Jachary Bills of Lawton, OK; a daughter, Mary Lou Bills of Paris; his parents of Rt. 6, Paris; 3 brothers, Herman Bills, Robert Bills & Charles Bills, all of Paris; a sister, Dora Griffis of Paris; 15 grandchildren."

Military marker inscribed, "US Army - Korea."
