THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Dec. 6, 1995, p.16A. 'Hugo, OK - Paul Billings, 82, of Hugo died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1995, in Paris. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at the Spencerville Community Church with Royce Huffins and Marlin Harp officiating. Mt. Olive Funeral Home will make burial in Spencerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Billings was born Jan. 3, 1913, in Prescott, AR, a son of William and Kerri Glascock Billings. He was a farmer. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. He married Joy Fay Johnson Dec. 6, 1949. He was a member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church. Surviving are his wife; five sons, Billy Billings of Paris, Jerry Billings of Durant, Kenneth Ray Billings of Messer, William Paul Billings of Streetman, TX and Robert Paul Billings of Kaufman, TX; two daughters, Paula Jean Kimmel and Carolyn Ann Case, both of Sawyer; two brothers, M.C. Billings of Cleburne, TX and Leonard Billings of Nashville, AR; two sisters, Marie Herbolt and Ora Bell Stewart, both of Waxahachie, TX; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.'
