| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, undated obituary on file with Lamar County Genealogical Society: "Mrs. Toru Biard, 94, of 2716 Sunset, Dallas, died at her home Tuesday, October 10, 1978. Graveside services were held Wednesday, October 11, at the Evergreen Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Tom Earls of First Baptist Church in Blossom. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Toru Sansing Biard was born January 11, 1884, in the Sylvan community of Lamar County, daughter of Ruffin and Dora Campbell Sansing. She married Lee P. Biard in 1903. After they married, they lived in Plainview until Mr. Biard's death in 1929. She then returned to Paris and lived there until 1947. At that time, she moved to Dallas to be with her son. Surviving is one son, Ruffin Biard of Dallas." In 1993 this was an unmarked grave next to Maxine Biard and the unmarked grave of Lee P. Biard. See obituary of Ruffin S. Biard. |
