THE PARIS NEWS, (Date of obituary not available.) 'Mrs. Ola C. Biard, 88, formerly of 931 Cedar, died Thursday, 10 Oct 1974 in a local nursing home. Funeral services were held Saturday in Fry and Gibbs Chapel with the Rev. James Elsom, pastor of Ramseur Baptist Church officiating. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery. Ola Cheatham Biard was born 6 Mar 1886, at Cortland, Ala., daughter of E.M. Cheatham and Edith Norton. She came to Paris at an early age and had lived here since. She was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. O.R. Caldwell of Dallas, Mrs. Nolan Mays of Dallas and Mrs. Earl Evans of Paris; one son, John R. Biard of Paris; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Abshire of Paris and Mrs. Henry Holt of Paris; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.'
