THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 7 Apr 1988. 'Eloise Scudder Biard, 77, 2449 Simpson, died Sunday, 3 Apr 1988, at McCuistion Medical Center. Graveside services were held Tuesday, 5 Apr, at Evergreen Cemetery by Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Barone officiated. Mrs. Biard was born 2 Jun 1910, in Blossom, a daughter of O.L. and May Womack Scudder. She attended Blossom schools and was a graduate of Paris Junior College and East Texas State University. On 26 Dec 1932, she married Ruffin S. Biard. He died 27 Jun 1984. She was a retired secretary from the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. Surviving are a sister, Virginia Bardwell of Paris; one niece, Dr. Jill Bardwell of Mesquite; and one nephew and family, Bill and Sue Scudder and Scott, Army and Jan Scudder, of Blossom.'
