THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Tuesday, June 7, 1921, p. 3: 'Geo. W. Bevins, aged 72 years, died at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at the Kimball hotel, where he resided, at the corner of Eighteenth and Kaufman streets after an illness of more than a year. He was a native of Maryland and had resided in Paris a number of years, following the occupation of a harness maker. He was in the employ of Paris Saddlery Company when he was taken sick. He is survived by a wife. The funeral services was held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Emberson and Brown's undertaking parlors, conducted by Rev. W. H. Wallace. The burial was at Evergreen cemetery.' Birth year is calculated. Sexton records of Evergreen have no indication of this burial. In 1994 this was an unmarked grave.
