THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Tuesday, June 7, 1921, p. 3: 'Geo. W. Bevins, aged 72 years, died at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at the Kimball hotel, where he resided, at the corner of Eighteenth and Kaufman streets after an illness of more than a year. He was a native of Maryland and had resided in Paris a number of years, following the occupation of a harness maker. He was in the employ of Paris Saddlery Company when he was taken sick. He is survived by a wife. The funeral services was held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Emberson and Brown's undertaking parlors, conducted by Rev. W. H. Wallace. The burial was at Evergreen cemetery.'
