| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Oct. 21, 1990, p. 4A: 'Ann Martin Betenbough, 64, wife of D. J. Betenbough, Rt. 1, Blossom, died at McCuistion Regional Medical Center Friday, Oct. 19. Services at 2 p.m. at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hamric. Born in Petersburg, TX., daughter of Arthur Boyd Martin & Beatrice Peterson Martin. Attended schools in Petersburg & Tatum, NM., where she graduated from high school in 1943. Married D. J., in Lovington, NM. They lived in Tatum until 1949 when they moved to San Antonio where they lived until 1968. Member of the Shady Grove Methodist Church. She helped organize the Prairiland Extension Homemakers Club & served in all offices of the club. She also helped organize the North Lamar T.E.H.A. & served as state convention delegate form the Prairiland club. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Cissy Betenbough of Silver City, NM.; 2 sons, Don Betenbough of Deport & Damon Betenbough of Phoenix AZ.; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, & a sister, Thelma Wallace of San Antonio.' THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 24, 1990: '...Bearers were Floyd Salter, Glen Evans, Harry Wilson, Charlie Hickman, Charlie Harvey & Keith Parsons.' Buried near Dan L. Craig. |
