| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 15 Jan 1981. 'Mrs. Rhoda Berry, 106, of Hugo, died 7 Jan 1981 in a Paris hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. W.A. Wallace officiating. Burial was in Fairland Cemetery under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home. Mrs. Berry had been a resident of Hugo most of her life. She is survived by five daughters, Theressa Rogan of Hugo, Valaska Agers of Wichita Falls, and Clementa Jones, Clifton Davis and Bernice Collins, all of Paris; two sons, Henry Berry of Ardmore, Okla. and O.V. Berry of Paris; one sister, Ms. Ophelia Henderson of Paris; one brother, Charlie Bowers of Phoenix, Ariz.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.' The obituary states burial in Fairland but it was in Littlejohn next to O. V. Berry. |
