THE PARIS NEWS Wed., July 3, 1991, p.4A: 'Juanita Presley Benningfield, 64, of Clarksville, Red River County Tax Assessor-Collector, died Tues. in Paris. Services at 10 a.m. Thurs., July 4, in the First Baptist Church. of Clarksville with Rev. Blake Dunigan & Rev. Don Shovan. Clarksville Funeral Home will make burial at Fairview Cemetery. Born in Red River County, daughter of Will G. & Elizabeth Presley. She had worked for 47 years in the Red River Courthouse. Married R.A. Benningfield Jr. in Clarksville. [More to the obituary...] Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Pamela Russell of Paris, a son, Mike Benningfield of Paris, a sister, Aletha Barton of Clarksville; 2 grandchildren Michael E. Russell II of Irving & Robert J. Russell of Paris, & 2 step grandchildren, John Davis & Julie Davis both of Paris. Named as pallbearers are Judge L.D. Williamson, Sheriff Bob Storey, and county commissioners Lane Duncan, Ben Storey, Drew Pirtle & James Carson.
