| Notes From a hand written index card with THE PARIS NEWS written on the back, Jan 4, 1991: “Marvin Bennett, 67, born 30 May 1923 in Justin, Tex, died 3 Jan. 1991 in Dallas, Tx. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Parents were Alfred Edward & Martha Lovella Van Zant Bennett. Married to Ora Irene Spangler, 4 Aug. 1945 in Clarksville. Surviving wife; dau., Fay Marsh, Douglasville; 2 grandsons, John and Wayne Marsh, Douglasville. Preceded in death by brother.” Transcribed by Debra Cornett Usry. On the same stone with Ora Irene Spangler. Also has a military marker inscribed, “Cpl US Air Force.” |
