| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Sep. 13, 1995, p.14A. 'Cooper - Kathleen Jeter Bennett, 70, of Powderly died Tuesday, Sep. 12, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center in Paris. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sep. 14, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Holley officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bennett was born in Delta County May 31, 1925, a daughter of W.J. and Kathryn Dixon Woodall. She retired from East Texas State University in 1985 as an administrative assistant. She lived in Commerce from 1966 until 1989. She married Bennett Jeter July 15, 1943. He died March 2, 1982. She married Woodrow Bennett on March 22, 1983. Surviving are her husband; two sons, David Y. Jeter of Memphis, TN and Jon C. Jeter of Dallas; a brother, Harvey Woodall of Cooper; and one grandchild, Andrew Jeter of Memphis.' |
