Nov 18, 2013; Ethel Marie Spears Bennett, 94 of Paris passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Legend Healthcare Center. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct graveside rites at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Norris officiating. Ethel was born Nov. 21, 1918 in the Pine Mills community of Wood County, a daughter of Steve Arie and Evy Lee Fuller Spears. She attended Wood County schools and was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Paris. She married J.T. Bennett, Jr. on Jan. 24, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1989. She was retired from Campbells Soup Company and had also worked at the South Main Cafe. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Vicki Taylor of Paris. On the same stone with J. T. Bennett, Jr.
