THE PARIS NEWS Fri., Jun. 1, 1993, p.6A. 'Stanley Bell, 98, of Deport died Thursday, June 3, at Red River Haven Nursing Home in Bogata. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, June 4, at First United Methodist Church in Deport with Rev. Chief Warden and Dr. Hale Glover officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Grant Funeral Home. Mr. Bell was born Nov. 28, 1894, in Deport, a son of Frank and Minnie Grant Bell. He was an owner and operator of a Deport restaurant for many years. He served in World War I. He was a member of Deport American Legion Post #199 and a member of Deport First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyda Bell, in 1984. Survivors include one son-in-law, Charles Davidson Jr. of Deport and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Onita Owen in 1980 and Jo Nell Davidson in 1989.'
