THE PARIS NEWS, 7 Dec 1979. ‘Funeral services for Henry Bell of Rt.1, Sumner, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Steele and Thomas Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bob Vasek officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Battey, Kenneth King, Sammy Porter, Curtis McDaniel, Allen Poole and Bill Henderson. Mr. Bell died Monday at his home. Mr. Bell was born on March 11, 1912 in Cache OK, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bel. He married Lois Spiller on May 26, 1934 in Chattanooga OK. He was a carpenter and a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Terry Bell and Mike Bell both of Sumner; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Patterson of Brookston, Mrs. Delores Garner of Paris and Miss Elizabeth Bell of Denton; two brothers, Claude Bell of Oklahoma City and Elmer Bell of Clarksville; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wayne Battey, Kenneth King, Sammy Porter, Curtis McDaniel, Allen Poole and Bill Henderson.
