THE PARIS NEWS, April 13, 1961, p. 2: “The funeral of A. D. Bell, 75, of Cunningham, who died Wednesday in a hospital here, was set Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grant Funeral Home at Deport. Internment was was to be made in Restland Cemetery, Cunningham, with Albert Roach, Church of Christ minister; Sister Virgie Temple And Elder Joe Farmer officiating. Announced as bearers were Clifford Pynes, Ural Deshong, Frank Wright, R. V. Free, James Jones and Joe Monk. Born at Cunningham, July 25, 1885, A. D. Bell was a son of J. H. and Cassie (Kenney) Bell. He leaves his wife, the former Josie Wortman; these children by a former marriage: Mrs. Fred Cox, Daingerfield; Mrs. Fred Allen, Pattonville, Rt. 1; Joe H. Bell, Tulsa, Okla.; Harold T. Bell, Paris; the Rev. John M. Bell, San Antonio; and Larry O. Bell, Lubbuck; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bob Hamby, Paris, and Mrs. J. B. Ledbetter Pomona, Calif.; these brothers and sisters: Vert Bell in California; Mrs. Lavada Landrum, Cunningham, and Mrs. Ina Robinson, Paris.”
