LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Aug. 7, 1986. '... 2100 Sunset, Brookston, services Sat., Aug. 2, at the Hospitality Church of God in Christ. Maxey Funeral Home had charge. Supt. M.L. Gray Elder Beauford died Tues., July 29, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Born in Pattonville, son of Edward & Mary Jones Beauford. He was the pastor of Grace Temple Church of God in Christ & served as assistant pastor at the Hospitality church of God in Christ. He was pastor for 30 years at Love's Temple Church of God in Christ at Clarksville & was past superindent of Sunday Schools of the Paris District. Surviving are his wife Minnie; a son Erva J. Smith of Oakland, CA.; 6 daughters, Mrs. Virgie 'Eddye Mae' Love of Garland, Minnie Lipscomb of Paris, DeLois Morris of Omaha, NE., Joyce Beauford of Omaha, NE., Mrs. Armistead 'Chandra' Pierce of Omaha, NE., & Mrs. Samuel 'Eula' McHenry of Kansas City, KA.; a sister, Lillie Mae Chism of Omaha, NE.; a niece, Mattie Mae Jones of Paris; a nephew, the Rev. Lois Thomas of Dallas; 28 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren.'
