THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, February 9, 1989, p. 2: “JOE EARL BEASON. Joe Earl Beason, 64, of Dallas died there Saturday, Feb. 4. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Red Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Arlen VanDerWilt officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mr. Beason was Oct. 3, 1924, in Shreveport, La., a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Beason, He was a Baptist. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Terry (Petricia) Beckham of Powderly, Mrs. David (Kathy) Allen of Trinidad and Mrs. Rickey (Linda) Miller of Dallas; three sons, David, Herman and Jimmy Beason, all of Dallas; eight grandchildren.”
