THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, March 24, 1957, p. 8: “MRS. MOLLIE BEASLEY. Paris News Service. HONEY GROVE - The funeral of Mrs. Mollie Beasley, 86, of Forest Hill community, north of Petty, was held Thursday morning at Forest Hill Methodist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Hubert Cunningham, officiated, and Cooper’s Funeral Home here made burial in Forest Hill cemetery. Mrs. Beasley, widow of Sam Beasley, whom she married in 1892, was born in Kansas City, Mo., December 9, 1870. Her death occurred Wednesday in a Paris rest home. Nieces and nephews survive.”
