THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, 24 Dec 1935, p. 5: "A. H. BEARDEN IS CALLED BY DEATH - Alvin Harry Bearden, veteran employe of the Frisco-Santa Fe railroads, died at 5 a. m. Tuesday at his home, 321 West Kaufman street, where he had been ill three weeks. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Manton-Fry funeral home by Rev. P. F. Herndon and Rev. F. L. Wear, with interment at Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers will be H. L. Palmer, J. H. Crews, John O'Brien, T. E. Brazelton, H. A. Beatie and Dr. M. Griffis."
