THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, 30 Jun 1980, p. 4: "Mrs. Tom E. Bean - HONEY GROVE - Mrs. Tom E. (Lucy) Bean of the George Wright Homes of Paris, formerly of Petty, died Sunday evening at L. P. McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James E. Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Forest Hill. Mrs. Bean was born April 3, 1887 in Swaim, Ala., a daughter of Jessie T. and Nancy Elizabeth Hinshaw Prince. She married Tom Bean May 1, 1907 in Swaim; he preceded her in death in 1964. She was a housewife and a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Paris. Survivors include two daughters, Zona Mae Bean of Dallas and Mrs. Maxel Landers of Paris; three granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 434-5th SW in Paris."
