| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 1 Sep 1988. 'Dovie C. Beal, 91, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Paris, died Sunday, 28 Aug 1988, there. Services were held Wednesday, 31 Aug, in Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Beal was born 13 Feb 1897, in Arkansas, a daughter of Joe and Dora Taylor Moore. She was a charter member of the Ramseur Baptist Church here. Surviving are a son, Henry Beal of Richardson; one daughter, Arlene Potts of Columbia, Mo.; two brothers, Claue Moore of San Antonio and Bob Moore of Houston; three sisters, Ollie Kirkland of Paris, Maude Ross of Roswell, N.M., and Geraldine McKee of Paris; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.' Buried next to Edna Mae Crawford. |
