THE COURIER-GAZETTE (McKinney, Texas), Wednesday, February 5, 1964, p. 8: "Clifford Baxter Passed Away In VA Hospital. Clifford C. Baxter, of R-1 Paris. died in the Veterans Hospital, McKinney. The body was returned to Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, Paris for funeral serves. Turrentine-Jackson had charge of local arrangements"
