THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, June 25, 1942, p. 2: “EARL BAUGHMAN. Earl Baughman, Rt. 1, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lamar Hospital where he has been taken for treatment June 20. He was 23 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Baughman of Roxton, Rt. 1. Funeral service was arranged for 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Roxton Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Byron Holt, paster, Brown-Roden Funeral Home making interment. Surviving are his parents and these brothers nd sisters. O. C. Baughman, Poseyville, Ind.; Jenning Baughman, Mrs. Mazie Dillard and Mrs. Leonard Gillie of Paris and Mrs. Maggie Bohall of Roxton.”
