THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, December 31, 1959, p. 5: “MRS. MANDY BAUCUM. The funeral of Mrs. Mandy Baucum 90, was arranged for 2 p.m. Tursdy [sic] at East Post Oak Church, north of Blossom, the Rev. R. F. Stevens, Avery Baptist pastor, officiating. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home here assisted Owens-Brumley of Wichita Falls in making burial in Red Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Baucum, a widow, died Tuesday at Holliday, where she made her home with hr daughter, Mrs. Eva Bilderback.”
