Services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Powderly with Rev. Victor McCullough. Maxey Funeral Home had charge. Born in Lamar County, son of Reuben & Christine Reed Bass. Attended Lamar County Schools & was a veteran of the Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Mary Frances; 3 sons, Robert Lee Bass Jr., of San Diego, Randall of San Diego, & Reuben Dewayne of Paris; a daughter, Myra Ann Bass of San Diego; his mother who lives in Paris; 2 sisters, Dorothy Webb of Arthur City & Betty Jo Johnson of Dallas; 4 aunts & 7 uncles.' |
