THE PARIS NEWS Tue., Sep. 24, 1991, p.4A. '... 70, of Sulphur Springs died Mon., in Hopkins Co. Memorial Hospital. Services at 1 p.m. Wed., in Tapp Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs with Barney Thompson & Derek Pfeifer. Born in Red River County, daughter of J.D. & Dolly Hathorne Evans. Was a member of Shannon Oaks Church of Christ. Had lived in Sulphur Springs for 25 years. Married Paul Fredrick Bartlett in Clarksville. He died May 14, 1964. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn D. Cunningham of Sulphur Springs; a son, John Paul Bartlett of Groton, CT.; a brother. L.D. Evans of Sanford. FL.; 2 sisters, Francis Garr of Hobbs, N.M. & Shirley Robbins of Clarksville; a grandchild & a great grandchild.'
