THE PARIS NEWS, 13 Feb 1991. Funeral services for Rosebud Lee Barrett, 1626 Maple, were conducted Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Lane Park officiating. Gene Roden’s Sons had charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barrett died 9 Feb 1991.’ Tombstone is inscribed, ‘Galanos-Barrett, Rosebud Lee, Daughter of Clarence and Ruby Lee Rodgers.’ THE PARIS NEWS had obituary under Barrett surname. This is also under Galanos.
THE PARIS NEWS-Feb.11,1991: Rosebud Lee Barrett, 65, 1626 Maple, died Saturday, Feb. 9, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Evergreen Cemetery.
Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, had charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs.
Barrett was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Paris, a daughter of Clarence A. Rodgers Sr. and Ruby Lee Bowman Rodgers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are two sons, Ron Galanos of Pattonville and Roger Galanos of Shillington, Pa.; two daughters, Diana Dunken of Paris and Elaine Martin of Irving; her mother who lives in Paris; two brothers, Clarence Rodgers of Mesquite and Bob Rodgers of Wills Point; one sister, Peggy Brunett of Woodville, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Rodney Rodgers..
