| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Fri., Mar. 26, 1993, p. 14A: 'Henry A. Basden, 85, 925-13th NE, died Thu., Mar. 25, at Cherry Street Annex. Services at 2 p.m. Sat., Mar. 27, in the Paris Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Michael Gentry. Born in Stuart, OK, a son of George P. and Elizabeth Hutchins Basden, he was an automotive mechanic with Howerton Motor Co. for many Years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and formerly served as an ordained minister. He married Ruthie Ann Kitchens Dec. 26, 1941, in Lamar County. Surviving are his wife; a son, Gene Basden of Abilene; a daughter, Zella M. Terryberry of Paris; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.' On the same stone with wife, Ruth Basden. |
