THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, April 12, 1932, Pg. 4: “Mrs. Arthur Barnett, 37, died at her home in Deport about 8 o’clock Monday evening, after being ill since Saturday. Funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Deport Baptist Church by Rev. Avery Rogers and R. L. Ely of Deport. Burial will be at Woodward cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dean Oliver, W. E. Veteto, Charley Barker, Joe Kelsey, Russie Bell and Frank Westbrook. Survivors are her husband Arthur Barnett, one daughter, Mary Katherine, 12; one son James Ensey, aged 2; four brothers, Joe, Claude and Clyde Barham of Deport and Dee Barham of Vernon, Texas; two sisters, Miss Trixie Barham of Deport and Mrs. James Hogue of Fort Worth”
