| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Dec. 5, 1995, p.12A. 'Cooper - Lawrence 'Rip' Barrett, 83, of Cooper died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in the First United Methodist Church in Cooper with Henry Suche officiating. Delta Funeral Home is in charge of services. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Barrett was born July 11, 1912, in Texarkana. He was a former owner of Barrett's Cleaners in Cooper. Surviving are his wife, Hattie; a daughter, Myrna Cawthon of Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.' |
