THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Nov. 2, 1952. 'Sam Barnes, 56, formerly a farmer at Atlas, died here of a heart attack late Friday at the home of a brother, Frank Barnes, 545 14th NW. The funeral, Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Glory Community, will be conducted by the Rev. Victor Nichols, student pastor from Southwestern Seminary, Ft. Worth. Mcdonald Funeral Home of Cooper will make burial in McDonald Cemetery.'
Military Marker is inscribed, 'Texas PFC 327th Supply Company, QMC WW I.' Next to Mary C. Barnes.
