THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Nov. 25, 1956: 'Frank Barnes, 68, retired farmer living at 545-14th NW, died at home Saturday at 10:45 a.m. after illness. He was born in Arkansas, June 16, 1888, son of the late Sam & Mary Hendrick Barnes. Funeral service, Monday at 2 p.m. will be held at Gene Roden & Sons chapel by the Rev. Rainer Hudler of Memorial Christian Church, of which Mr. Barnes was a member. Burial will be in Mcdonald cemetery near Broadway. Mr. Barnes leaves his wife, the former Miss Lottie Clifton; these brothers and sisters; Jasper Barnes, Compton, CA.; Mrs. Ely Cooper, Shell Knob, MO.; and two half brothers, Johnny Rasor, Terrell and Silas Rasor, Glory community.'
