| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 18 Jul 1985. 'David Hoyit Barnes of Pattonville died in a truck accident in Dallas County on 14 Jun 1985. Services were held Friday, 12 Jul 1985, in Grant Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Dean Price and Ted White officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Barnes was born 16 Sep 1958, in Paris, a son of Hoyit and Nancy Pettit Barnes. Surviving are his mother, Nancy Nichols of Pattonville; his grandmother, Mrs. Irene Pettit of Paris; three brothers, Anthony Barnes of Pattonville, Michael Barnes of Little Rock, Calif., and Nathan Barnes of Plattsburg, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his father in November 1976 and a sister, Susan Janeck, in 1982.' Buried next to Susan I. Barnes Janek. |
