| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Jun. 20, 1996, p.6A. 'BOGATA - Jewell Barnard, 85, of Lubbock, formerly of Bogata, died Wednesday, June 19, 1996, in Methodist Hospital of Lubbock. Services will held at 3 p.m. Jun. 21, at First United Methodist Church in Bogata with the Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Deport by Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Barnard was born Jan. 14, 1911, in Mason County. She married Osie Eugene 'Jack' Barnard on October 13, 1937. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1992. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bogata. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Bobby Williams of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Shelli Renee Williams of Dallas and Richard Wade Williams of Amarillo, and one great-grandson, Brody Kyle Williams of Amarillo.' Buried near Austin William Wilson and Mack Barnard. |
