THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, January 27, 1942, p. 3: “BARKER FUNERAL. Error was made in last Wednesday’s funeral report of S. A. Barker, 38 Plum St., who died at Lamar Hospital, January 20, his daughter’s name appearing as Mrs. Clarence Kirby instead of Mrs. Clarence Kearney.”
