THE PARIS NEWS, 15 Oct 1989. 'Clyde Presley Barham, 74, of Deport, died Friday 13 Oct 1989, at McCuistion Medical Center. Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, 15 Oct, at the Deport Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Glenn Renfro and the Rev. Bobby Renfro officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery by Grant Funeral Home. Mr. Barham was born 29 Mar 1915, in Deport, a son of Samuel Clyde and Carrie Mae Presley Barham. On 5 Jul 1944, he married Mary Allene Solomon. He was a member of the Deport Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 199 for 45 years. Surviving are his wife; one son, James Barham of Clarksville; two sisters, Rebecca Faulhader and Carrie Beth Skidmore, both of Dallas; two grandchildren, and an aunt, Ann Hogue of Florida. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Gerald and Bill Barham. Named as pallbearers are Gary Nixon, Duane Glover, John Clanton, John Campton, Weldon Hume, Mutt Harvey, Paul Yates and Jimmy Keys.'
