| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 13 Nov 1980. ‘Clemmie O. Barham, 59, of 1501 E. Washington, died 4 Nov. in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Elsom, pastor of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Barham was born in the Broadway community on 4 Mar 1921, son of Clem Barham and Earcy Mae Hulsey Barham. He attended Broadway schools and married Geraldine Briscoe on 23 Oct 1948. He was associated with the Texas Cattle Raisers Association for 22 years before being in the dairy business and working with Rheudasil and Parham Contractors for the past five years. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Vickie Lynn Money of Fort Polk, La. and Mrs. Robin Gage of Paris; his mother; a sister, Mrs. Willie Belle Haynes of Tyler and four grandchildren.’ Also has a military marker inscribed, "US Army - World War II." Buried next to W. T. Pinson. |
