THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, September 25, 1933: "BANKSTON FUNERAL TO BE ON TUESDAY: "Funeral services for Charles Edward Bankston the 7-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bankston, who died at their residence at 379 West Cherry street Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock will be held at the Methodist Protestant church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services are to be conducted by the Rev. W. R. Brewer, assisted by the Rev. W. M. Whatley. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows cemetery. The boy is survived by his parents, a brother, James Halbert Bankston, and his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. J. W. Whitsell. Palbearers will be Joe Head, Jack Mahaffey, Jr., Donald Wood and James Martin."
