LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, April 30,1987: "Thomas W. Ball, 510 Bonham St. died at McCuistion Regional Medical Center at 2:32pm. Monday, April 27. Graveside services were Wednesday, April 29, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Newman officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Mr. Ball was born Aug. 31, 1902, in New York City, N.Y., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ball. He was a veteran of World War II and was an assembly worker with Douglass Aircraft in California for a number of years. He moved to Paris in 1978. There are no survivors." Submitted by Linda Broyles.
