THE PARIS NEWS, 12 Nov 1969. ‘Mrs. Pauline (Burrous) Ball, widow of Minter Ball, formerly of Lamar County, died Wednesday of illness in a hospital in Dallas. She lived there at 204 East 10th Street. Dudley Hughes Funeral Home, Dallas, has charge of the service in Dallas, Leverett and Steele of Paris to arrange burial in Evergreen Cemetery here at 2 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. B.D. Holland, Rt.3, Paris, is a sister.’

Unnamed-Undated Newpaper: "Mrs. Minter (Burrous) Ball, 204 East 10th St. Dallas, died November 12, 1969 in a hospital in Dallas. Services were held November 15 at 10a.m. at Dudley Hughes Funeral Home in Dallas with the Rev. Billy Lucas of Dallas officiating. Leverett & Steele Funeral Home was in charge of graveside services in Evergreen Cemetery here at 2p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Ball, widow of Minter Ball, was formerly of Lamar County. She was born June 22, 1898, at Minter, daughter of Thomas S. Burrous and Arbrett Lynn Burrous. She was a member of Kiestwood Baptist Church in Dallas. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Bowling, one grandson, Charles Bowling, of Dallas; three sisters: Mrs. Velma Hutto, Poncha City, Oklahoma, Mrs. George Rose, Couage, Texas and Mrs. B.D. Holland, Rt. 3, Paris. Also, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.” Submitted by Linda Broyles.
