Bassano Sr. and Mary Willets Bassano.  Francis Willets Bassano was born February 4, 1827 at Handsworth, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. He was the oldest child of Francis and Mary (Willets) Bassano who immigrated in 1850 with their seven children. He married Lucy C. Nash June 13, 1860. From family records, Texas Marriages and U.S. Census Records.
