| Notes LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Oct. 23, 1980. 'Richard (Buddy) Baldwin, 89, of 1403 S. Main, died Oct. 18 in Leisure Lodge Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.L. Woods, pastor of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Fairland Cemetery. Mr. Baldwin was born in Columbus, Ga. on Nov. 8, 1890, son of William Baldwin and Katherine McDonald Baldwin. He is survived by a sister, Estella McVerse of Paris; three nieces, Mrs. Katherine Anderson of Claremont, Calif., Mrs. Mary Poole of Portland, Ore. and Mrs. Marie Hopkins of Terrell; a nephew, Homer Baldwin of Seattle, Wash.' |
