THE PARIS NEWS, 13 Apr 1977. 'Mrs. Hettie Jane Baker, 67, of Cunningham died Tuesday afternoon at McCuistion Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Cunningham Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Glenn Renfro officiating. Bogata Funeral Home will make burial in Restland Cemetery at Cunningham. Mrs. Baker was born 21 Apr 1909, in Bell County, Texas, a daughter of Samuel and Sally (Cott) Parks. She married Otto Baker on 3 Mar 1928, in Taylortown. She was a Baptist. Survivors are her husband; four sons, Hugh Baker of Livingston, Ala.; Neal Baker of Mesquite, Charlie Baker of Cunningham and Ronnie Baker of Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Margie Byers and Bea White, both of Mesquite; Nell Spann of Paris and Mrs. Ronnie Lewis of Bogata; five sisters, Mrs. Opal Nix, Mrs. Ethel Baskins, Mrs. Hazel Dunn and Mrs. Bessie Betterton, all of Waco, and Mrs. Louise Vance of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Pete Parks of Waco; 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A son, Davis Baker, died in 1967.'
