THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Nov., 29, 1991, p. 4A: "Tommie Elisteen 'Kit' Bailey, of Siloam Springs, AR. died there on Wed. at Springdale Memorial Hospital in Springdale, AR. Services at 2 p.m. Sat., at Fry & Gibbs with Rev. Vance Eubanks. She was born in Clarksville, daughter of Albert Ellis & Elizabeth May Wiese Beers. Attended schools in Clarksville & married B. G. Bailey. He died Dec. 16, 1988. She had been a resident of AR. since 1964, moving there from Andrews, TX. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Paris, the Siloam Springs Hospital Auxiliary and the First Christian Church in Siloam Springs, Ark. Surviving are a on son, Gary B. Bailey of Siloam Springs, 3 daughters, Eloise Dixon of Keller, Dianne Blackburn of Lubbock & Sonya Lawrence of Siloam Springs; one brother, James C. Beers of Bogata; two sisters, Patsy Padgett of Boise, Idaho & Brenda Beers of Jay, OK.; 10 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren."
