THE PARIS NEWS Tue., Aug. 16, 1988. '... 59, 550 E. Cherry St., died Sat., Aug. 13, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services held Wed., Aug. 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the Olive Branch Baptist Church with Rev. A.M. Seamon. Maxey Funeral Home had charge. Born in Lamar County, son of Richard Sr. & Monett Littlejohn Bailey. Was a member of the above church & retired from Texas Power & Light Co. after 39 years of service. He was a saxophonist for several local bands & was a 1946 graduate of Gibbons High School. At the time of his death, he was employed by Thomas Food Mart. Surviving are his wife, Dora; 4 sons, Robert Lewis Bailey, Bobby Wayne Bailey, Bruce Bailey & William Earl Bailey, all of Paris; 3 daughters, Carolyn Hardison of Dallas, Shirley Ann & Donna Jean Bailey, both of Paris; 2 sisters, Pearline White of Portland, OR., & Alene Baltzer, of Portland; an aunt, Mrs. Sammie Frierson of Paris; 12 grandchildren & a great grandchild.'
