THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, August 13, 1952, p. 12: “Philip Harvey Bailey. Philip Harvey Bailey, 70, died Wednesday, at 5:30 p.m. at his home, 137-3rd NE. Funeral Services were to be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Post Oak Church, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Luther. Burial will be made at Post Oak Cemetery, in charge of Fry & Gibbs. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Pauline Bailey, Dallas; two sons, Morris Bailey, Paris, and John E. Bailey, Blossom; one sister, Mrs. John Swint, Paris; three brothers, Luke Bailey, Post Oak; P. B. Bailey, Paris, and H. W. Bailey, Jacksboro, and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Bailey was born Aug. 1, 1882 at Pattonville, son of the late J. H. and Dolly Bailey.”
