THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Jul. 12, 1994, p. 10A: "Deport - Marshall Boyd Bailey Jr., 64, of Houston, formerly of Deport, died there Monday, July 11, 1994. Services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the First Baptist Church of Deport with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery by Wood Funeral Homes, Deport. Mr. Bailey was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Deport, a son of Marshall and Linnie Newsome Bailey. He married Bobbie Griffin Dec. 25, 1949. Surviving are his wife; a son, Casey Bailey of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Kandy Kreitz of Houston; two grandchildren, Robert and Bryan Kreitz of Houston; a brother, Pat Bailey of Reno; and his mother, Linnie Bailey of Deport. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly, in 1981."

On the same stone with Bobbye Bailey. Also has a military marker inscribed, "Sgt US Air Force."
