THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, October 2, 1957, Pg. 7: “Hugh Quentin Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Bailey, Rt. 6, Paris, died Wednesday in a hospital at Sherman, where he operated a news stand. The funeral, Thursday at 10:30 a.m., will be held at Gene Roden & Sons chapel, with burial in Providence Cemetery. he was unmarried, survivors, besides his parents, being these brother; Morris Bailey, Fort Worth; J. L. Bailey, Paris and Woodrow Bailey, Sherman, and a sister, Mrs. J. H. Nor rely, Powderly.”
