THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Thu., Aug. 21, 1980. 'Frank Henry Bailey Sr., 65, of 1345-20th NE, died Aug. 14, in a local hospital. Rosary was recited Friday evening in the chapel of Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals. Funeral mass was said Saturday morning in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Father Carl Vogel officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Bailey was born in Paris on Aug. 23, 1914, son of Jessie Eugene Bailey Sr. and Mary Agnes Ward Bailey. He married Marilyn McGuire, on Oct. 25, 1943. He was owner and operator of Bailey Produce Co. He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Marilyn (Dedy) DelBarto of Katy, Mrs. William T. (Barbara) Springer of Arlington, Mrs. Spencer (Beth) O'Connor, Mrs. Ronald L. (Mary Ann) Davis, and Mrs. Keith (Claire) Grayson, all of Paris; one son, Frank H. Bailey Jr. of Paris; a sister, Mrs. George Serur and one brother, Jessie E. Bailey Jr. of Paris; one granddaughter and five grandsons. Pallbearers were George Preston, A.C. Graves, Jack King, Si Weiler, Bryan Lemmond, Thomas Duncan, Steve Rogers and Thomas Steely. Honorary bearers were Claude Townsend and Jake Heron.'
